Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dbee (dbee.app), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Description of Service

Dbee is a free, ad-supported web application for connecting to, querying, and managing databases. Supported databases include PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQLite, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, MSSQL, and MariaDB. The service provides a SQL editor, result grid, ERD diagrams, data export, SSH tunneling, cloud sync, and other database management features.

Free Service

Dbee is provided free of charge and is sustained by advertising (a single sidebar ad via Google AdSense). We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice. We are not liable for any interruption or discontinuation of the service.

User Accounts

You must create an account to use Dbee. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.

Database Credentials

You are solely responsible for the database credentials you store in Dbee. While we encrypt your credentials using AES-256-GCM client-side encryption (zero-knowledge architecture), you are responsible for:

• Ensuring you have authorization to access the databases you connect to
• Managing and rotating your database passwords as needed
• Complying with your organization's security policies
• Any actions performed through database connections made via Dbee

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Dbee to:

• Access databases without proper authorization
• Attempt to circumvent security measures or exploit vulnerabilities
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service for any illegal purpose
• Abuse the service in a way that degrades performance for other users

Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we determine, at our sole discretion, that you have violated these terms or are abusing the service. Upon termination, your encrypted data will be deleted. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Dbee is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We make no guarantees regarding the reliability, accuracy, or availability of the service.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Dbee and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or damage to databases, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid us, which is zero for a free service.

Intellectual Property

Dbee and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by its operators. The service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. Your data and database content remain yours.

Privacy

Your use of Dbee is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
